Eungella National Park Visit.

On Thursday 14th May,Airlie Beach Probians took off for a trip to Eungella National Park.Bolder Creek was the first stop for Morning Tea. We alighted at a pretty spot where the creek flows under the road, and views on both sides were beautiful. The leaky lizards in the party were able to spray their wares in The Windy Loo that stood close by.From here the party headed for The Eungella Chalet.Views looking out over the valley were magnificent. After a drink or two we drove to Broken River and were lucky enough to get some great photos of Turtles and a Platypus that enjoyed the opportunity to display his unusual shape to all and sundry.Lunch was taken at The Criterion Hotel at Finch Hatton and we all enjoyed the fare.Later, after a few drinks the party set off on the journey back home via Mount Ossa.A day trip that is highly recommended and thoroughly enjoyable.

The Windy Loo.

The leaky lizards pay homage to a relic from the past.Shimmy and Alison would like to announce they are not in the Leaky Lizard class and were there purely for the photographic opportunity. The photographer would not divulge the comings and goings at this facility.

Platypus Extraordinaire.

The sun shining on his beak was pure photographic skill on my part.
