Q150 Visits Proserpine







To celebrate the 150th Birthday of Queensland, an Historic Journey is
being made by one of the oldest steam trains in existence.The Train
left Brisbane on it's journey throughout The State arriving in
The Whitsundays on Wed.27th May.

Proserpine Station was a hive of activity
as a large crowd gathered to greet The Q150's
arrival.Enthusiasts arrived from all parts
of The Whitsundays to photograph the Train
as it prepared to leave for a short trip to
Bowen then returning to spend the night in
Proserpine before heading north to Ayr.A
school band was there to greet the passengers
on arrival and The Mayor of The Whitsundays
was also present.
